Addi and Eddie...

Much to my chagrin, Addison LOVES Eddie. At first Eddie was terrified of Addison, and didn't know what to think of her. He would run whenever she came near, but that has quickly changed. Eddie realizes that Addison is fun to lick, fun to follow around, and will inevitably give him food if he stands by long enough. They love each other so much that once while Trav was "watching" Addison, I came down the stairs only to find, to my horror, that Addison was sucking on Eddie's paw. The whole paw was in her mouth! Both Addi and Eddie were content, and Trav didn't even notice. I was disgusted!

Whenever Addison hears or sees Eddie, she gets a big smile on her face, says, "Dee, Dee", and pats her little hand to her leg to call him over. While I really don't care for my dog, and wish that he wasn't around most of the time, it is pretty cute to watch Addison's admiration for him!

In these next pictures, please ignore the dirty, dog-licked, weather beaten windows!

Eddie was outside, and Addison was watching him intently.

She would pound on the glass, and call him, then look back and me, as if to say, "Mom, let him in."

And this is when I finally did let him in.

I guess my excuse for getting rid of Eddie cannot be because of the baby! Looks like I am losing this battle!

Teether...

Addison is FINALLY getting some teeth. She's cutting her two front teeth, and the two next to them. It's not much fun. She's been having a hard time sleeping, and I can't wait for this to be over!

Swimmers

Travis and I decided that we would take Addison to the South Davis Rec Center (The old Bubble). We went a few weeks ago with my Mom and my nephew Ethan, and we had so much fun, that we went again on Monday. It was really busy because it was President's day and Family Night all rolled into one, but it was still fun!(Sorry for the naked pic, Trav!)Addison LOVES to swim. She's not afraid of the water at all! Travis took her around the lazy river. She got her head wet in the waterfall as they were going, and she didn't even cry. He took her on the big slide, and she smiled the whole time.

Happy V-Day and B-Day!

Yesterday, we went Red Robin with my Dad and Marty to celebrate my birthday..a day early. It was lots of fun!

After, we went back to my Dad's house for a carmel flan birthday cake.

These are the shirts I made for our cheesy V-Day celebration! So Cute!

Today is my 26th birthday. It feels just like another day, but my family is great, and worked hard to make it special!

My Mom made me my favorite..Chicken Enchiladas.

I got some jewelry, new shoes, pants, cute shirts, and a cute bag.

I think that Addison is still my greatest gift!

Thank you to everyone for helping me celebrate! I'm looking forward to celebrating with the Gines tomorrow. Love you all!

CONSUMED...

I have been working on my blog book, and it's taking over my life. It's so fun, and coming together nicely! Blurb, has been fixed so that it will actually "slurp" your whole blog, pictures, and posts into a book, and all you have to do is add the details, backgrounds, etc. It's relatively inexpensive, and a great way to keep track of your ramblings.

10 Months!

Addison is ten months old today! I can't believe how the time flies! In two short months, she'll be a year old. We are anxious for a forward-facing car seat, cow's milk, a chocolate birthday cake, and maybe a few teeth!

These past ten months has been a blast! I love having Addison as my little side-kick. We have lots of fun together, and I can't seem to get enough of her! I love you, Addi! Thanks for filling my life with joy!

Bath Time Buddy

Last night, we had my nephew, Ethan, spend the night. According to Ethan, "My Mom works so, so, so, so, so, hard so that we don't have to live in a cardboard box." Madi works nights, and Troy is in school (almost done..Wahoo!). My mom usually takes Eth on Tuesdays, but since she had parent teacher conferences, we were lucky to have him at our house.

In addition to playing the Wii and hanging out, Eth really wanted to get in our big tub with jets. So Addi and Eth did.

Once they got clean, and played until they had raisin fingers, I took Addi out, and filled the tub up a little more, and turned on the jets. Ethan was most excited for the jets. Once they were on though, his story changed, and he didn't like them because they were too loud.

Ethan is a sweetie, and Addison LOVES him so much! We were glad to have him spend the night with us!

The Morning-Do!

Yesterday for church, Addison looked so cute. We tried a new hairstyle, with two piggies, and it was darling, while it lasted...

By the time we got to the church, and got her out of her car seat, to go inside, she ended up looking like this.

This is what Addison looks like in the morning. Her hair is gorgeous, isn't it? I tried to fix her hair all through Sacrament meeting, but realized that I wasn't winning the fight, or feeling the spirit, so I gave up. I am sad to admit it, but my daughter looked like a rag-a-muffin out in public...but she's a cute rag-a-muffin, isn't she?
