A Taste of Summer...Finally!

Yesterday we went to Layton Surf and Swim to celebrate Jeremy's graduation. They had taken the roof off, and we were worried it would be too cold, considering we had snow the day before, but it ended up being perfect..and lots of fun!

Congrats, Jeremy! We are proud of your accomplishments, and glad that you invited us to such a fun party!

Before the party, Addison helped Kelli make Snickerdoodles. She was a good helper, and Kelli was nice to let her participate. The cookies were delicious! Addison ate one, and asked for more. She's liking sugar more and more every day..I knew it wouldn't last..there's just too many good treats!!

TWO...

SHE will be here sometime around October 19, 2010.

We are so excited to be welcoming sweet baby girl number two to our family! My pregnancy has been so different than it was with Addison, and so Travis and I both thought that we would be having a boy. We even had his name picked out! Now, we're both a bit stunned by the news - and could use your suggestions for girl's names!

I have had time to process the news a bit this afternoon, and I couldn't be happier. I am so excited that Addison will be getting a sister. I am lucky to have THREE, and there is nothing sweeter than the love sisters share. Addi will be an awesome big sister and friend to this little one. I can't wait for matching dresses, hair bows, and so much more pink!

We love this little GIRL already!

Addison's Livin' Large...

We sold our house last week. Whew..what a relief! Our new house in Farmington will not be finished being built until the middle of June or the first part of July. Until then, Poppy and JoJo are kind enough to let us live here with them. Addison is in HEAVEN! She asks for JoJo and Poppy first thing everyday, and waits for them all day long, when then are working. She is getting so much attention, it worries me how she will adjust to moving to our new house with just boring old mom and dad. She's getting spoiled! The first morning we were here, Addi had Lucky Charms for breakfast. When I gave her the bowl, she said she was eating, "cereal with presents." Now, she wants nothing but "presents" for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She's a lucky girl, and gets chocolate milk, and whatever she asks for pretty much whenever JoJo or Poppy are home.

Addi loves playing in JoJo and Poppy's huge yard, and bouncing on their trampoline. She especially loves riding on Poppy's 4-Wheeler. Too bad the weather has been so bad lately - We've had to stay inside and play with all of the toys and fun things at JoJo's.

We are grateful that JoJo and Poppy opened up their home to us. Thanks for your patience with us..and a special thanks to Poppy for filling in for Trav and taking Addi and me out on a date Saturday night..it was fun!
