Eight New Posts!

I finally got updated. Check out all EIGHT new posts below!

Hailey's Blessing

Yesterday, we were able to have our family over to our house to bless Hailey. It was a beautiful blessing! I'm so glad that we are surrounded by family. Thank you all for your love and support!!

Christmas Day

Our Christmas morning started at around 8:30 AM when Addison woke up. Thankfully she slept in a bit, because we were up late working on Addi's gift. Addison wanted Santa to bring her a teddy bear, and a camera that works like Mommy's. She also got a playhouse from Mom and Dad. On Christmas Eve, Gage got a Nurf Dart gun, and Trav kept stealing it. After he went to work, I ran and got him and Addison matching guns, with safety glasses because Gage shot a dart in his eye..safety first! He acted just like a little boy. He loved them!

After we opened presents at our house, we walked over to my Mom's and had an awesome french toast breakfast, followed by more gifts. It was fun to be together!

After my Mom's house, we came home and played our Xbox Kinect with the family. We had such a fun time. Even Mom and Madi got in on the action...it was hilarious at times!

Later, we headed to my Dad's house for more food, and more presents. It was relaxing, and enjoyable! Family is so important to me, and I'm so glad that Travis had the WHOLE day off. It was the best.

Christmas Eve

We spend Christmas Eve with the Gines family. We started this year at Jo's house with a great dinner, and then moved on to opening the TRUCK LOAD of presents. Travis had a few hours off, and was able to be there..that was the best part for me! I think we all got everything we wanted and more..including two iPads for Keith and Jo, a leg lamp, a photoshoot on the Oregon Coast this summer, toys and toys galore, a shopping spree at Kohl's, wiggle cars, and a trip to Disneyland in Novemember...WE ARE SPOILED!!

After the fun time at Jo's, we headed to Grandma Gines' house. We mixed it up this year and had scones and soup, instead of scones and ham. It was a nice change. We played the white elephant game, and had a visit from Santa. Poppy was there and was able to convince Addison that Santa is not Poppy. She kept looking back and forth at Poppy and Santa, and then got a glow in her eyes, and wanted everything to do with Santa. She was so excited for her turn to sit on his lap.

We stayed up until 1:15 AM to complete Addison's big gift from Mom and Dad..a playhouse. We made horrible elves because we made lots of noise, and struggled to get it put together. Lots of curse words, and hours went by, but we finally got it made.

Snow Day and Gingerbread House

Madi and Ethan took Addison out in the snow to make a snowman the other day. She loved it and didn't want to come in!

Travis and Addison made a gingerbread house together. Travis cut the frosting bag hole a little too big, so it's a little messy, but it was nice to let them have some time to spend together...so I didn't intervene.
