Five Months

My Hailey babe or "Hay Hay", as Addison calls her, is five months old as of yesterday. I can't believe it! My little tiny newborn is now a chunky infant. Travis lovingly calls her "Chubs". I can't get enough of this sweet baby. Her cheeks are so much fun to kiss, and her thighs are great to squish!
Hailey, you are happy, sweet baby. You definitely are a bit stubborn, just like your Daddy and big sister, but you're content most of the time. You have a good schedule and you like to stick to it.
Hailey, you are so strong! You want desperately to sit up on your own. Whenever you are on your back, you do little crunches and try hard to sit up. You are almost sitting unsupported, but just slump a bit, and aren't quite there. You have grown out of your reflux for the most part, and because of that, you are nursing better. We are still working on it with every feeding, and we're getting better at it together. You have started eating cereal, and getting the hang of the spoon. You just like to eat!

You love to smile and are just starting to laugh. It's so fun to watch you change and grow. I'm excited that your sister is starting to like spending time with you more. She's realized that it's fun to be a big sister, and hopefully that will continue. We sure love you, Hailey!

Weekend Fun!

We had a great weekend! On Friday afternoon, I got a call from my good friend, Jessica, who said she had access to FREE tickets to Disney on Ice, and wondered if we wanted to go. We, of course said yes, and had a blast! Addison was in awe the whole time. When it was time to leave, she sat down on the ground and said that she didn't want to go. Travis had to work so, unfortunately, he couldn't come with us. It's too bad because he would have loved the princesses!

On Saturday, we went up to the Eccles Dinosaur park in Odgen with the Leybas and the Grandpas. It was such a beautiful day, and we were excited to be outside enjoying the day with some of our favorite people, checking out the awesome dinos.

Surprise!

On March 3rd, we had a surprise party at our house for Trav's 30th birthday. He took Addi to the Rec Center to swim, and when he came home, we had a house full of people, and yummy food to celebrate. Trav got some fun gifts, including a poster of his man crush..Justin Bieber, a new swim suit, and a dance game for his Xbox Kinect. After the food and presents, we went downstairs and played the dance game with the crowd. It was a blast! Thanks to everyone who came, and kept the party a secret!

Real Salt Lake

On March 1st, we went to a Real Salt Lake game with Madi and Troy, Justin and Jessica, and Kyle and his blind date..Trav set them up. We went to dinner before, and then headed to the game. Real won, and we had lots of fun!

Growing Girlies

My babies are getting so big. Hailey is nearly 5 months old, and Addi will be 3 years old next month. I can't believe it! These girls make me so happy...and they are getting cuter as the days go by!

On February 26, Hailey had her first taste of rice cereal. She spit most of it out the first time, but each time since, has enjoyed it more and more. I just can't believe she's ready to be eating off of a spoon.

My mom gave Hailey this darling snow suit. I love to see her in it..it just makes me giggle!

Addison has turned into a little preformer! She loves to be the center of attention. She has started taking gymnastics, and loves to do summersaults and donkey kicks. She also loves to do "ballet". We got the dance game for the Xbox Kinect, and she loves to take her turn dancing. She's actually pretty good at it!

Hailey loves the bouncer. She fell asleep in it the other day. Addi loves to "help" Hailey jump in it. Some of the biggest smiles come from Hailey when she's in the bouncer.

Addi loves to have her hair done, and do make up. She always likes to watch me get ready and copies everything that I do. She says how pretty she is when she's done. I hope she always thinks she's pretty!

The other day it was really quiet upstairs. I went up to see what was going on, and this is what I found. Addi dumped out all of her stuffed animals and lined them up on the couch in her true OCD fashion. Needless to say, she doesn't need any more stuffed animals!
