Easter Pictures...

We had a busy Easter this year. We colored eggs with Madi and Ethan, had a fun egg hunt at Jo Jo's, and had a fun Easter morning, beautiful Sunday services...complete with DARLING Easter dresses, and lovely dinner at Grandma Jer's (sorry no pictures of that).

Seriously?!?

Hailey turned SIX months old on Tuesday. Seriously!?! Can she be that old already? Where did the time go? I can't imagine my life without this sweet chubby bundle! Every single day I remind myself that I'm the luckiest Momma on the planet to have this smiley babe for my very own. She is such a calm, sweet little thing. She's patient with her big sister, and with me, too. Her smiles melt me, especially now that he's discovered her tongue. She's obsessed with it, and with her toes. She can sit up all on her own now, and is close to pulling herself up. I've tried cereal with her lots of times, but each time she just spits it at me. I am going to be starting her on food next week, and hope that I don't get a face full of green beans. She's not the best eater, although her cheeks and thighs might tell you otherwise!

Hailey and Addi are becoming better friends each day. Hailey gives Addi big smiles, and Addi always wants to be holding Hailey and giving her toys. Addi finally gets that having a sister is a good thing!

We went to the Dr. on Tuesday for both girls to have well check visits. Addison wanted to go first, and she did such a good job. She stood up tall, and straight to be measured, and held perfectly still during the rest of the exam. She was sad when the Dr. told her that she didn't need to have any shots. I think that she thought she wouldn't get a sucker if she didn't' get shots!

Hailey hated every minute of the Dr., from when I put her on the scale to weigh her, to putting her on the exam table, and of course the shots. She screamed the whole time we were there. She's usually so sweet, it wasn't fun to see her so upset.

Here's their stats:

Addison-
Weight: 32 lbs - 65%
Height: 37 3/4 inches - 70%
BMI: 55%

Hailey-
Weight: 15 lbs 7 oz - 40% (She lost weight with her RSV. When we went to get the breathing treatment, she weighed about 16.5 lbs.)
Length: 26 inches - 75%
Head: 16 3/4 cm - 50%

Addison is THREE!!!

Addi is 3! I still can't wrap my head around it. I can't believe that she has been my spunky little babe for three years! We have had two fun days of celebrating! On Monday, her real birthday, we opened presents from Mom and Dad, and Jo Jo, and then went to McDonalds for chicken nuggets and fun in their playplace. Travis had to work that night, so the party was postponed until Tuesday. We had a fun party with all of Addi's favorite things...pizza and breadsticks (she mostly just loves the breadsticks), cucumbers and carrots with ranch, apple slices and grapes, and chocolate milk, and of course cake and ice cream. She got a Backyardigans cake and was so so excited about it. She was very cute and polite. She told everyone thank you for the gifts they gave her, and gave them big hugs.

I love Addi so much and I'm so glad that she is my big three year old sweetie!

I'm three today!

She finally got the Pillow Pet Dolphin that she's wanted for months. His name is so creative...Blue Pillow Pet Dolphin.

Jo Jo gave her a Leapster. She loves it already!

"Now that I'm three, I'm a big girl and can help you to vacuum, Mom." Awesome!

She got so many awesome gifts from our family. Thank you all for loving Addi and giving her great presents.

Sick Sweetie

Our sweet Hailey has had RSV and an ear infection. You'd never know she was sick based on her behavior. She's still as sweet as can be, just a bit more clingy. She has had a nasty cough and horribly runny nose. We went to the Dr on Tuesday, and had a breathing treatment, and got a prescription for her ear infection. They also tested her for RSV, which came back positive. The Dr told me that days two through five are usually the worst for RSV, but it seems like days one through three were the worst for Hailey. She's doing much better now, but has passed the runny nose on to her big sister. I can't wait for warmer weather, and healthy kids!!
