OREGON!

We headed to Oregon on June 9th. We traveled up to Boise and spent the night. Trav had to work until midnight so, he and Keith came up after he worked and got there at about 5 AM. They slept for a few hours until we hit the road again headed for Portland, then slept in the car on the way. We stopped at a fish hatchery and Multnoma Falls on the way to Portland.









Before we left Portland, we had donuts from Voo Doo Donuts. They were delicious! Trav had a maple bar with bacon, and I had an apple fritter - Addison even had one, she chose a chocolate one with sprinkles. We then headed to Tillamook Cheese Factory and had yummy food followed by even better ice cream on REAL waffle cones! Yeah! I was too hungry to take pictures whil we were there though!

Once we got to our Worldmark in Depoe Bay, we found a beach and Trav and Addi played in the sand. Hailey was all smiles!




The next few days were filled with beautiful adventures up and down the Oregon coast.



Addi and Gage were best buds on this trip, and hugged and held hands most of the time.


Addison loved the aquarium. She took me to every square inch of that building and told me all about what she saw in the tanks. She even touched an anemone! Trav and Hailey were less than excited to be there but put on a smile anyway.




After the aquarium, we headed to the world famous Mo's for lunch. Trav had a crab melt with clam chowder, and was in heaven. I stuck with something a little less fishy and had chili in a bread bowl.


The next day we woke up bright and early and headed to Neptune beach to see all of the neat things in the tide pools. It was lots of fun. Unfortunately, the tides were as low as they were forecasted to be, so we had to hike a bit to see cool stuff. Trav took off, like usual. I was determined to catch up with him and did well until I fell on one of the slippery rocks and tore up my leg. Luckily though, I saved Hailey and my camera from getting hurt. Addison loved seeing the sea stars...so did I!

I didn't get a picture of all of our fun. I missed shots of kite flying, swimming, sand duning, and lots more. We had an absolute blast! Thanks to the Gines family, specifically Keith and Jo, for making it so much fun!
