I Ate My Words...

After years of driving an ugly, broken down blue Dodge Caravan all through High School and after, I SWORE I would NEVER, EVER drive a Van again. Two Saturdays ago, right after Girl's Camp, I ate my words, and we signed the papers on this new beauty...A 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L.
A few months ago, Travis started talking about buying a van. I brushed it off, and told him, "No Way!" He kept at it, gently suggesting, and showing me cool features that the new Vans offer. I kept showing him Crossover SUV's, and tried to convince him that a Crossover was the right option for us. After researching and comparing countless vehicles, focusing on miles per gallon, I agreed to test drive a Honda Odyssey. I told Travis that I was going to be really negative and that he and the salesperson was going to have to work hard to convince me. After we got there, and I hessitantly got behind the wheel, no convincing was necessary. The van spoke for itself.
It has so many cool features, including automatic doors, which I love! No more will Addison smack another car's door by opening her door too hastily. The liftgate is also automatic. It has Blue Tooth, leather, and heated seats, a back up camera, a cool box. And...don't forget about ALL of the space. It's so roomy and the girls love it!!! It's so easy to get them in and out without having to bend over and kill my back.
I had to let go of my pride, and eat my words, but once I did, I've been loving my new ride! I'm officially a Mom with a Minivan!

YAY!! yours is way cooler than my CRAPTACULAR blue mini van....my doors aren't automatic but my windshield wipers turn on when ever they feel like it rain or no rain...usually no rain. But when I need them they usually choose not to work....no radio, passenger window is duct taped up. It is a beauty with loads of rust....yep I hate it!!! But I would totally take one like yours any day!!
