Hailey is TWO!

Hailey turned two on October 19th. The night before Hailey's birthday, she insisted that she needed to wear shoes to bed. I tried to tell her that we don't wear shoes in bed, but she was crazy about it. Considering that the shoes she picked had never been worn outside, I consented, and she wore them all night, even wore them to eat breakfast on her special day!
Hailey thinks she turned FIVE. Whenever you ask her how old she is, she says, "Five", and holds out five fingers.
This little stink is so funny! She has a crazy personality and makes me laugh. She loves to tease her big sister Addison, but also idolizes her too. She loves to play "Bobbies" Barbies, and babies, and always has to have her blankey. She'll ask me, "Mom, where's my blankie", if she doesn't have it close by. Over the last few weeks, Hailey's language skills have increased dramatically. She speaks in full sentences often with correct tenses on words, and with a huge vocabulary. She was a silent observer for awhile, but not any longer, much to Addison's dismay at times. Hailey will tell me exactly what happened, like, "Addi hit me.", or her favorite, ""Wucas" Lucas bite me". Lucas is a boy in Hailey's school class that bit her a few times. Now, whenever anything happens to her, she blames it on poor Lucas. When I asked her what happened to her scratched nose in these pictures, she said "Wucas, bite me." Ha! Hay Hay only likes to eat candy, cookies, soda, everything her sister doesn't like, and won't eat. She reminds me of Elanore, the chubby Chipette! Her cheeks kill me, and I can't get enough of her chubby tummy. Despite thinking she's chubbby, she's only in the 30% for weight, weighing in at 25 lbs, 6 oz. She's 34 inches long, in the 55%, and her head is 18.5 inches around, 35%. Hailey is such a Momma's Girl that it often frustrates me. She's constantly saying, "Hold you, Mom." She drives me crazy at restaurants because she has to be sitting on my lap, eating my food. I know I should be cherishing this time with her fully and completely, but she ALWAYS wants to be near my side that it's exhausting sometimes. I know I'll look back on this time and miss it, so I'm trying my best to love it and take it a day at a time because I know she'll soon grown out of this. I do love to snuggle with her, and get giant Hailey hugs from her though, and I never tire of her crinkle nose smiles and mischievious laugh. I love you, Hailey!
The night of Hailey's birthday, we went to a new Pizza buffet for dinner with Jo Jo and Poppy. We liked the food, especially their dessert pizzas! Hailey wouldn't know though, because all she ate for dinner was ranch dressing!
After dinner, we headed to our house and opened presents. These pictures look like Christmas morning because Hay's in jammies because she got covered in ranch dressing and needed a bath, and the Christmas wrapping paper. She got spoiled with lots of clothes, and a new baby, and shopping cart.
