We are going private. I know that this is one of the most debated topics when it comes to blogging, but due to some recent things that I have seen and thought about, I decided it's best for us to close the doors to uninvited guests.
Blogging is a part of my life that I really enjoy. It gives me a chance to get a break and check in on my loved ones and friends. I have gotten to know so many of you much better through you blogs. I love to see pictures of your kids, and read about what is going on in your lives. I also love to write about, and share pictures of my sweet Addison with all of you. Blogging helps me to realize my blessings as I think about all of the good things that are going on around me, and all of the wonderful people that fill my life.
I want blogging to continue to be a good thing. I would hate for something I love to turn into something that would harm me or my family. I don't want personal information about us to get into the wrong hands. As much as we all try to deny it, there are creeps in the world, just waiting to prey on the innocent, and nothing is more innocent than my sweet Addison! I don't want to compromise that in any way.
Protecting my family is my number one priority, but I don't want to be forgotten about just because we are private. I know that signing in is a pain, but you have to do it to leave a comment anyway, so PLEASE, PLEASE continue to blog stalk us, just help me to know that YOU are doing it, and not some stranger! Suz, and others of you that have asked: One of the reasons that I have finally decided to go private is that some strange person posted on my blog. I went to their blog to see who they were, and there was some content and pictures that were disturbing to me.
The KSL 5 story on blogging didn't really put my mind at ease either!
